You can order your repeat prescription by telephone. Our repeat prescriptions line is open between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
You can also order your repeat medications on-line. You need to be registered for Patient Access. If you wish to do this, please pop in to reception and we can print off a Patient Access form (with individual PIN numbers) for you to register.
Please allow 3 working days for your prescriptions to be issued and ready for collection. We normally aim to turn them around in 48 hours ( not the same day).
Repeat prescriptions are reviewed by our doctors on a regular basis and you may be asked to come and speak to your doctor about your medications when necessary.
To register at the practice please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
When joining the Practice you are registering with The Practice and not with an individual GP. However, you may ask to see any doctor and the Practice shall endeavour to comply with your preference.
Making an appointment
Consultations are by appointment only.
The normal consultation time per appointment is 10 minutes. Some appointments may require a double appointment, therefore please assist the receptionist if she asks the nature of your appointment. If you have multiple problems please don’t be offended if we ask you to return to discuss this in another appointment if we feel we cannot deal with this adequately in the time we have.
About our practice
Lochthorn Medical Centre was set up by Dr.Riyaz Sabur around 20 years ago. We started our journey in a temporary portacabin and have gone from strength to strength over the last 20 years.
Our medical centre is now purpose built to a high standard. One thing that has not changed over the last 20 years is the quality of the services we provide.
